Scratch Entertainment was started in the fall of 2003 as a small independent record label. Over time, Scratch Entertainment has evolved into Artist Development and Management and Event Production. We have developed education and training programs for artists, as well as provide full service professional representation and artist development. Our primary focus is on the cultivation and representation of the culture bearers and content creators who give birth to unique cultural experiences. We understand fully why New Orleans is one of the most visited cities in the world - its culture, perpetuated in its people, is our most precious treasure to protect and share with the world.

Kemic Alan Smothers, J.D.
FOUNDER/MANAGER
Kemic began his music industry career as an Entertainment Attorney. His role quickly evolved to better serve the needs of artists and performers. He is now a Band/Artist Manager, Event Promoter and Educator. Kemic handles negotiations and manages all contractual agreements on behalf of our clients and affiliates. He works to maintain professional business experiences on behalf of our clients.

Chanelle Caesar Elmore
ACCOUNT/PRODUCTION MANAGER
Chanelle is originally a Dancer/Choreographer. Her primary role at Scratch Entertainment is Event Production and Account Management. Chanelle heads our Event Production team and oversees the third party vendors in the coordination of everything needed for our live productions. Chanelle uses her Business Administration background to make sure everything moves smoothly and professionally.

ACCOUNT/TECHNOLOGY MANAGER
Joe is a drummer at heart. At Scratch Entertainment, however, he utilizes his Business Administration background to serve as Account Manager navigating the entertainment business on behalf of our clients. Joe works alongside professional event planners, venue owners and third party vendors to ensure our clients enjoy the best and most memorable experience possible.
